International Building Show2014Â
Cameron Curtis, owner of Curtis Homes, and Thad Iremonger, Lead Carpenter of Curtis Homes, joined 70,000 other building professionals in Las Vegas last week for the International Building Show. Curtis and Iremonger had the opportunity to meet new vendors, other home builders, as well as, learn about the most innovative products on the market.
- Barn-wood flooring from Bend, Oregon
- New trends in appliance and plumbing products
- New technologies available for home automation (wireless lights, heating, security cameras, and surround sound)Â
- Meeting Ty Pennington, a genuine and exceptional builder
Both Curtis and Iremonger, who have 16 years of combined building experience, enjoyed discussing the always evolving green techniques in framing and air-sealing homes with the other building professionals.
Curtis was very excited about brand-new software that will help streamline his customer’s building experience. The software will revolutionize how clients select finishes, schedule walk-throughs and the building process of their new home. It is important to Curtis Homes to offer clients the most cutting edge products available. To learn more, ask either of them about the multi-faceted topics and what they learned.
Lastly, it was wonderful for Curtis to confirm Curtis Homes is currently using advanced products for home building and to see a few new trending ideas that could be incorporated in Curtis Homes’ home building process. See more photos of the IBS Show on our FB page!
