Choose a Lot & Home Plan Package
Curtis Homes’ pre-sold homebuilding process is unique. It starts with listening to you as a homebuyer and what you’re looking for in your new home. We then work to determine the best location and home plan that will meet the needs of your family and lifestyle. Our team has expertly crafted home plans to maximize the potential of each lot and we’ll work with you to find the best combination within your budget. You won’t need to hassle with purchasing land or getting a construction loan. Curtis Homes builds and sells a home to you as a package deal.

Sign Contracts to Build
Before we get started on building, you will sign contracts with Curtis homes to purchase the total finished package of home and lot! A deposit is given to the title company and Curtis Homes begins the process of obtaining building permits.

Choose Home Finishes
To the fun part – choosing your home finishes! You will work with the Curtis Homes Team and our specially selected Home Design Partners to choose from a home selection package that matches your intended home’s design. These finishes for your house include; surfaces, light fixtures, doors, custom cabinets, countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, appliances, closet shelving and fireplace. You will have 3 scheduled meetings to consult with our design team and partners to ensure your home’s vision is brought to life!

Builder Walk-Throughs
We will conduct 5 scheduled project walk-throughs with you during the building process to keep you up-to-date on the status of your home and to answer any questions you might have. Additionally, you will be set up with a BuilderTrend account where you can follow the timeline of your home’s build and keep a pulse on the progress via daily log photos.

Move-In Day
Move-in day is a celebrated day! After a lot of hard work and attention to detail, you will sign the documents at the title company to take ownership of your new house built by Curtis Homes. An orientation is conducted with you and our team and the keys are then handed over! But don’t think we abandon you once you take possession of your house, we provide you with our builder warranty and will always consider you part of the Curtis Homes Family!
